Registration:
To compete in the tourney, you will to register and make the entry fee donation. See this post for more details.
Registration ends on October 16th.
Format:
This is a 4 v 4 team tourney. You must have 4 players to compete.
Game Setup:
Maps and game types will be available for download from my file share after registration ends.
The tourney consists of a certain number of rounds. The number of rounds depends on how many teams register.
Each round will consist of 3 games. The winner of 2 out of the 3 games will advance to the next round.
The games for each round are as follows:
First Game: Slayer type
Second Game: Objective type
Third Game: Slayer type
In the event of a tie at all three games, the teams will continue go back and start the series of games over for that round. Play will continue until there is a winner.
All players start with a battle rifle unless otherwise defined by the game type. For instance, there may be an objective type game with only one type of weapon.
Game Day:
When the match-ups are released, there will be one team designated as the "Home Team" and one team designated as the "Visiting Team".
The home team is responsible for setting up the game, performing lag checks, and inviting the visiting team to the match.
Once a round is finished, the main contact for each team must post the results of the round in the designated thread for each round in the "Game Day" board.
Also, the winning team should check the match-ups for the next round on the "Game Day" board.
Prizes:
Since this is a charity event, I am going to muster up as much as I can to give away to random participants.
As it stands right now, I will have a championship trophy for the team that wins the tourney. The trophy will be a cup style trophy with the winning team's name, and all of the team member’s names on it. There is just one so you will have to decide who gets to hold onto it. I recommend some kind of custody agreement
Please allow a few weeks for delivery.
Questions:
Please post any questions you have in the Questions section, and I will answer as soon as possible.
